abstract
The Chrysin 5,7-dihydroxyflavone belonging to the group of flavonoids is an important inhibitor of the aromatase enzyme, which converts androgens into estrogen. The aromatase inhibitors may be useful as supporting cast in the treatment of fiber edema geloid(FEG). It has been made a study on a female individual without hormone variation that does not use birth control Pills without physical activity or aesthetic treatment. The subject of the research took the oral supplement chrysin to verify the improvement of the pathophysiologic FEG and biochemical changes of estrogen and testosterone. It was found that consumption of chysin to assist the treatment of fiber edema geloid reduced the degree of fiber edema geloid and the reduction of tactile sensitivity at the site of EGF and also became noticeable the improvement and reduction of varicose veins. There was reduction of estrogen and increase of testosterone as expected.
