Analysis of the Inclusion of a Nutritionist in a Multidisciplinary Team at a Primary Health Care Unit In The Town Of Jaíba/Brazil

A pesquisa buscou analisar a inserção do nutricionista na atenção primária à saúde, a partir do olhar de profissionais que compõem a Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF). Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, com aplicação de entrevista semiestruturada a 16 componentes da equipe de ESF em uma Unidade de Saúde, na cidade de Jaíba, MG. Os relatos das entrevistas foram transcritos, e categorias de entendimento foram identificadas com recortes das falas dos entrevistados: Categoria 1 - Frutas, verduras: alimentação balanceada. Categoria 2 - O conhecimento que não aprendi. Categoria 3 - Obeso, hipertenso, diabético e desnutrido. Categoria 4 – Precisaria de mais, um pouco mais (de nutricionista). A análise das falas aponta para a importância de inserir um conceito de alimentação saudável através da atuação do nutricionista de forma ampla, a fim de atender a demanda da população, que deve ser o foco de toda a atenção à saúde, priorizando ações preventivas.

This research aimed to analyze the insertion of a nutritionist in primary health care from the perspective of Family Health Strategy (FHS) professionals. It is a qualitative study with application of semi-structured interview to 16 team members of the FHS at a Health Unit in the town of Jaíba/Brazil. The reports of the interviews were transcribed, and categories of understanding were identified from the interviewees' speeches: Category 1 - Fruits, vegetables: balanced diet. Category 2 - The knowledge I have not learned. Category 3 - Obese, hypertensive, diabetic and malnourished. Category 4 - More is needed, a little more (of nutritionists). The analysis of the speeches points to the importance in inserting a concept of healthy eating through the role of a nutritionist in a wide-ranging way in order to meet the demand of the population, which should be the focus of all health care, emphasizing preventive measures.
